Project Help and Ideas » Servo Squirter pump issues

I've just received the pump for the Servo Squirter Project. I am having difficulties powering it on with the 9V battery. It starts for a second and then stops. If I switch the polarity it starts again for a second and it stops again. Does this mean that I don't have enough current and I should use an adapter instead of the battery ?

Never mind, it was a mechanical problem I got it working. The quality of this pump is really poor.
