It just occurred to me you can use your breadboard to hold wire (preferably steel wire) upright while you solder it to make headers with, you really don't need a plastic piece to hold them tight when you have one sitting right on your workbench!

also, any female socket will accomplish the same thing if you need to fit in a tighter space.
