I see that a servo can rotate up to 180 degrees. Is it possible to make it rotate 360 degrees and if yes how is that achieved in the MCU.

Hi Cybergod,

Most servos are designed for 180 degree rotation. There are ways to modify these servos for continuous 360+ degree rotation, but it requires taking them apart. There are a few tutorials on the internet regarding that hack, a simple google search should allow you find it.

You can purchase 360° servo's (called contiuous rotation servo's). Parallax sells one made by Futaba for about $13. Link to other site
