I had the need to say that the MCU and the header DOES NOT love 12 volts... They made an nice odor and had a temperatur whitch could be compared to the surface of the sun...

So be 100% sure you have your connections right. This can't be said to often.

Yep. Also, 7v reverse voltage is even worse. The amazing thing is 5 hours later, it still worked. :P
