Bought my kit on a Tuesday and by Thursday I was already programming it. Great stuff, this was exactly what I was wanting. A nice, moderate kit with exceptional documentation that was easily digested. It has been said before but the documentation (and the videos) are the real reasons why you want to buy from the NerdKit guys.

My only wish was this was available a few years ago when I first got interested in embedded programming (I put my comp sci degree to use as a prof. programmer) as it was an excuse to fiddle with C. Between the guide you provided with the kit and the other projects on the site, I was very quickly able to get up to speed on embedded programming and it is a LOT easier than I thought it would be.

Now I just need to finish building my binary LED clock :D

tmeisenh : Welcome! Great review.

One of the reasons I bought a Nerdkits (apart from learning something new), was to build my own binary clock! Here's my journey!

Best of luck with your projects, it really is a fun ride.
