One of my 3D printers uses a Pritnrboard for electronics. The Printrboard uses a AT90USB1287 MCU so I thought I'd better learn something about the mcu so I bought an AT90USBKey2 development board.

Anyone have any experience with this board?

Hope you had a Merry Christmas,

I think thats just an older microcontroller that was replaced by the atmegaXXu4 series. I may be wrong though.

Yeah, that is likely, but since the Printrboard uses that mcu I went with the AT90USBKey2 so that I could play around and not kill my printer's electronics.

The firmware for the printer electronics gets updated often and there are multiple versions by different people so I wanted to be sure I knew what I was doing.

Did you know that LEDs (light emitting diodes) only conduct current in one direction, like normal diodes? Learn more...
