Hey guys, Random thought here, is it possible for our MCUs to access and query a SQL server(assuming you had proper Ethernet hardware and programming)? I dont know why Id want to, but its been kinda quiet here lately and Im currious lol.

Directly most likely not, or at least very challenging, but through a proxy script running on a pc probable doable.

There has been discussion on running TCPIP on the mcu the first challenge is the the size of the TCPIP stack but I believe it has been done.

I think Arduino might have ethernet access I believe there is a ethernet shield.
