Never mind I figured it out. I was testing it with a blinking LED and I had the LED going from PB0 to Ground so it was in programming mode the whole time. I switched the polarity of the LED to go from PB0 to +5v and it works perfect.

Thanks rboggs10 , I had tried using a LED on PB0 as you did, I just wasn't smart enough to figure out why it didn't work.

That is really a relief, wheee finally things make more sense as far as using PB0.
