Hi I would like to know if I can make a speedometer with my Atmega168 for a motorbike.

If possible can you give me a schematic for it please.

Search the forum for RPM, you will get lots of discussions and various techniques ie. pin and interrupt usage.

It would be better for you to sketch out a schematic and then post it for comments.

We know the mcu (ATmega168).

Now how are you going to sense speed? Do you want to use a optical sensor or a hall effect sensor?

Is your mcu going to be doing other things or can you devote it to your speed sensor?

These are the type things you probable need to think through before getting some good substantial answers.

Specific questions are a lot easier for us (well for me at least) to answer.
