where do i find the "or" operator symbol to use in a program. Also where would it be if I were using notepad?

Hi legalbear,

The or operator is the pipe character. Usually on the top right of your keyboard above the enter key. At least on my keyboard it is the second character of the backslash key, so Shift+ produces the pipe. Some keyboards show a broken pipe (two vertical lines) but they end up producing the same character. Hope that answers your question.
