Welcome To The NerdKits Wiki Library
A place for the community to share their wisdom.
Quick Instructions
This wiki uses the same markdown syntax our forum uses. See a list here of the common syntax examples used in the library. Here is the official Markdown documentation.
To link to an external link, make sure you use http:// at the beginning of the link.
[Title of link](http://www.linktosomewhere.domain/)
To link to a wiki page the page must be preceded with the /library/ path
[Link to a wiki Page](/library/my_cool_page/)
Links to other library pages that do not exist yet are marked by a [?]. Clicking the [?] will take you to the form to create that page. To create a new page, just create a link to your new page, and then click the [?] link.
Rules
- Be nice, and be helpful. What makes the NerdKits community so special is that everybody is always willing to help the newcomers.
- The library is meant to be a repository of information, not a discussion. To get help on your project, ask questions, or just read up on what everyone is up to, please visit the forums.
- Add any information to the Library that you feel the community should have at hand, and if you have anything to add to an existing page, do it!
- Do not post any copyrighted content, and do not take any content from any other website.
- NerdKits reserves the right to remove any content posted on the library or ban users from posting on the library for any reason.
Keep in mind
- The library is written by the NerdKits community and is not a complete start to finish set of instructions like the NerdKits guide.
- Editing a page means you are editing something someone else wrote. Please only edit it if you have something that will improve it.
- Different people have different styles of engineering, hacking, coding, and writing. Do not assume that you can mix and match concepts presented across different pages. We encourage you to try and learn different things and apply them in your own way, but do think about it first.
- Although we do our best to make sure information presented in the library is accurate, since it is community written we cannot guarantee it is correct.
